Dwayne McDuffie recently died this year. Which was/is a blow to me on many levels.

Grifter from the WildC.A.T.S. 1990′s version.
Below is the sketch. the original idea was to make “the Spider” look and move more manic like but it didn’t seem to gel with the coolness of Lobster so i changed it.
comicbloc charater design. Maisey – AKA – The Angel of Death. She has wings also but I couldn’t make them work in the time I had for this drawing so I took them off.
